Impacts on youth on the edge
During “Youth in transition,” the intended methods and structural changes will be trial run in practice. This will have the following expected impacts on 360 of NEETs in 3 of the partner countries:

  • Slovenia: 50 testing the assessment tool + 2* 15 participating in individual pathways = 80 youths
  • Denmark: 50 testing the assessment tool + 2*100 participating in individual pathways = 250 youths
  • Iceland: 15 testing the assessment tool + 15 participating in individual pathways = 30 youths

In each of the partner countries, 50 % of the test group for the assessment tool are expected to be assessed as vocationally mature.

50 % of the youth population in “Youth in transition” will enter an educational program in VET.

80 % of this population show indicators regarding completion (such as vocational maturity, high degree of motivation, personal well-being, constructive relationships, etc.).

Impacts on the professionals
During “Youth in transition,” local training units for multi-professional teams will be conducted; Counsellors, VET teachers, social workers, employment counsellors etc.

It is expected that 90 % of the participants will experience the methods as relevant or highly relevant for their work with NEETs.

75 % should be able to apply the methods to practice after the training.

80 % should indicate that they feel more cross-professionally aligned and have achieved a better understanding of the daily processes with NEETs, seen through the eyes of their colleagues.
